Anne Curtis Smith has received several awards in her professional career. Among them are two FAMAS Awards she won in 2008 and 2009 and a Luna Award. In addition to that, Anne Curtis Smith was also nominated for five PMPC Star Awards. Additionally she has also been selected for nominations to two Gawad Urian Awards as well as the eight PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis starred in several television shows, including Hiram Kampanerang Kuba (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). The role she played was Dyesebel, the Komiks iconic character from Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. She was the host of It's Showtime from midday between 2009 and the year 2020. Anne Curtis (born 17 February 1985) is a Filipina Australian model, actress, TV host and recording artist. The actress has received many awards over the course of her professional career. Curtis starred several television series, such as Hiram, Maging Sino Dyosa and Green Rose. In 2014, she played the legendary Komiks Dyesebel character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. She has also been a host of the noontime variety show, It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis was a Filipina born in Bolinao Pangasinan. Her father is an Australian lawyer, James Ernest Curtis Smith. Her father, James Ernest Curtis Smith was married to Ojales back in 1982. Jasmine, her younger sister is also an actor. Their father had an older half-sister known as Clare, who passed away in 2007 at the age of 4 months of cardiovascular disease.
