Colson Kelly, also known as Machine Gun Kelly is best well-known for his distinctive style of rap he employs. Baker was born to an English Scottish German family in Houston Texas U.S.A. On April 22nd the 22nd of April, 1991. His parents, each missionaries took him to many trips during his early days. James Colson Baker was depressed and was unemployed when Sonia Alane, his mother, left his family when he was only 9 years old. Baker's father emigrated together with Baker to Denver and lived with the home of his aunt. Baker received a lot of attention from other youngsters because of his poor status. His compositions are known as a blend of modern hip-hop and rock and alternative music. Baker made four mixtapes in the period before signing with Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. By the end of 2011, the Cleveland rapper was a household name when he changed from self-releasing his mixtapes, to signing with well-known label labels. The career of this Cleveland rapper skyrocketed after the release of his debut mixtape late in 2011.
