Laura Linney
Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on 5 February 1964. Linney is an American actor best known for her ability to portray strong characters who are also vulnerable. Linney was born into an theatre-loving family, with her father Romulus Linney writing plays. In 1986, she graduated at Brown University. She then studied Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City was her first stop in 1990. The actress began performing in the city on Broadway receiving awards for her performances in roles like Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
